A New Chapter: Honoring the Past, Embracing the Present, and Designing for the Future

A New Chapter: Honoring the Past, Embracing the Present, and Designing for the Future

Welcome to the new chapter of my art business.

This rebrand has been a long time coming, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you. While the colors, fonts, and design may be new, this rebrand is less about changing who I am and more about creating a clearer expression of what I’ve always believed in: that timeless style and contemporary creativity aren’t opposites—they're partners. My hope is that the new look and feel of my brand reflects the same qualities my art aspires to embody: warmth, curiosity, beauty, and a sense of quiet luxury that makes a house feel like home.

Why I Started

I began this business to express my creativity and connect with fellow lovers of color, home design, and antiques. What started as a few paintings in my home has evolved into something so much bigger—a place where art, storytelling, and interior design come together. I’ve been deeply inspired by the world around me—the changing seasons, natural landscapes, small moments in big cities, and those magical details that make you stop in your tracks. My work lives at the intersection of antique and modern, classic and expressive, polished and playful. And now, my branding does too.

What Inspires Me

My color palettes are pulled from memory and experience: a sun-drenched facade in Tuscany, the blue-grey of slate rooftops in France, the warmth of worn limestone walls in the Edinburgh. My compositions are abstract, but they always carry meaning—a record of movement, mood, and a moment captured. I love building layers and leaving intentional traces behind. I hope you can feel that energy in the brushwork and the way it interacts with the historic textures of antique frames or the crisp surface of gallery-grade paper.

My Mission

This rebrand also gave me the chance to articulate my mission more clearly. At its heart, my work is about more than just making beautiful things (although I hope it does that too). It’s about:

  • Creating art that brings comfort and curiosity to the homes it lives in—pieces that feel both classic and quietly whimsical, that invite you to keep coming back and noticing something new.

  • Honoring the craftsmanship of the past by giving new life to antique frames and time-worn elements that might otherwise be forgotten.

  • Inspiring other creatives—especially those whose paths have been winding or unconventional—to pursue their own artistic journeys.

  • Elevating the everyday through intentional, layered, and meaningful creative expression.

My work is currently focused on original paintings, both on canvas and paper, as well as framed antique pieces. My style ranges from expressive abstraction to layered landscapes, each rooted in a sense of place and memory. I hope to grow this business through thoughtful collaborations, licensing partnerships, and accessible fine art prints. I love the idea of working with antique dealers, interior designers, and new traditional tastemakers to bring more color and character to curated homes.

My Vision

If someone were to describe my work ten years from now, I would hope they’d say it’s innovative yet classic, luxurious in an approachable way, and unmistakably mine. I want it to make their homes feel more like themselves. I want them to see something new in my paintings every time they walk past them. I want to create pieces people live with, build memories around, and pass down.

I also hope my story is an encouragement to others. I didn’t take the traditional path to becoming an artist, and I believe that there’s space for many stories, many voices, and many kinds of beauty in this world. Whether you’re a fellow creative, a design lover, or someone who just appreciates the feeling of walking into a room and loving how it makes you feel—you’re in the right place here.

A Brand That Feels Like Home

This new branding has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the personality and values behind the paintings. It’s soft but structured, graceful but grounded. You’ll notice updated visuals that echo antique tones, classic typography that feels timeless, and textures that mirror the layered movement in my artwork. The goal was to create a brand that feels like a well-loved home: collected, storied, and uniquely personal.

Thank You

Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just discovered my work, thank you for being part of this journey. Your support makes all of this possible. I’m so grateful for the collectors, collaborators, interior designers, and fellow creatives who have cheered me on and shared my work with others. There is so much more to come.

Here’s to the next chapter—to timeless style, bold creativity, and art that makes you feel something.

With gratitude,

Christine
